The SCRIPS program was set up to fund our school instructors for Music, Art, Physical Education and Special Education- what we call our MAPS programs. Originally, the voters of the congregation voted to allow the MAPS programs as long as they were school funded. Thus, SCRIPS was founded.
SCRIPS SPECIALS Each month SCRIPS offers bonus offers on some gift cards. This means the school and church receive an additional contribution from the purchase of these cards. The following are just a few of the specials for this month: Expiring 12/30/11: JCPENNEY is offering a 2% bonus (7%) on their $25 and $100 gift cards as well as Reload and ScripNow!. SEARS is offering a 3% bonus (7%) on their $25, $100 and $250 gift cards. EXPRESS is offering a 2% bonus (12%) on their $25 gift cards. CABELA’S is offering a 2% bonus (13%) on their $25 gift cards. Red Robin is offering a 2% bonus on their gift cards. Jiffy Lube is offering a 3% bonus on their $30 gift cards. UNO Chicago Grill is now offering a1% bonus (13%) on their $25 gift cards. BATH & BODY WORKS is offering a 5% bonus on their $10 and $25 gift cards thru 12/2/11. BOSTON MARKET is offering a 4% bonus (16%) on their gift cards thru 11/25/11. JO-ANN is now offering $25 gift cards with a 6% bonus. Speedway – can now be reloaded at Shopwithscrip.com. Reloads are from $10 to $250. Home Depot – have a large project coming up? We can now order Home Depot in $1,000 gift cards. Contribution is still 4%. **Some retailers are willing to take special orders of denominations of gift cards for those larger projects - $500 or more. Let us know if you have a large order, what card you would like to purchase and the amount. We’ll contact our Scrips program to see if your request can be honored!! NEW – Groupon has joined the list with $25 gift cards and a 7% non-profit contribution.
